Tell us about an employment, service, or research experience that was important to you.
In college I served as an EMT for my campus community. This was a unique way to help my peers when they needed it most. I was able to provide both medical and emotional support for my community, and gain experience working with patients and making difficult but important decisions.
What first sparked your interest in community service?
What I love about community service is that it is done with the intent that things will get better, and that situations will be improved. Though community service can be challenging, it has a positive and powerful goal that inspires me to serve.
